How to Prepare and Submit Presentation Files​

※ If you do not submit your pre-recorded video file, the session chair can move to the next presentation in case of emergency.

PPT file preparation

  • PPT file format: MS Power Point (MS Office 2013 or later)
    PPT Template Download
  • Slide aspect ratio: 16:9 recommended​
  • File size: 100 MB (max.)​
  • Language: English​
  • If you use fonts other than standard Microsoft Office fonts, please bring the font file itself with your presentation file(s).

Video (MP4) file preparation

  • Video file format: MP4 (.mp4)​
  • Resolution: Full HD (1080p, 1920 x 1080)​
  • File size: 1.2GB (max.)​
  • Language: English (no simultaneous interpretation and subtitles provided)​

Recording Instructions

You can record your presentation using the recording feature in Zoom, PowerPoint or any other software you might have.

Recording Tips

You need to record yourself on camera speaking. If you do use the webcam, remember to frame the shot so your head and shoulders fill the frame. Try to avoid too much space at the top of the screen with just a floating head at the bottom. If possible, your eyes should be in the upper 1/3 of the frame.

Checklist for recording​

  • The video running time is no longer than your presentation time.
  • The resolution of your video is Full HD (1080p).​​
  • PPT slide should be formatted in the 16:9 slide ratio.​
  • The format of the vide must be .mp4.
  • Audio and video tracks are in sync at all times.​
  • Use the microphone on your computer, a headset with a built-in microphone or the microphone on your webcam if you have one.​
  • Included a picture-in-picture video window so that the presenter is always visible throughout the video.​
  • Upload both your slides and your video files to www.microneedles2020.org.

Submission of presentation files

All presenters (invited and free papers) are required to submit both PPT file and Video file.


  • Go to MYPAGE after log-in → Click Abstract Status → Click PT file Submission and upload PPT and Video file.
  • Save your PPT and Video file using your paper number and presenter’s name as below.​
    • Abstract no_Presenter’s Full Name.ppt​
    • Abstract no_Presenter’s Full Name.mp4
  • Submission Start: September 21 (Mon)​
  • Submission deadline: October 16 (Fri)​
  • Modified presentation materials deadline: October 23 (Fri)
    • Abstract no_Presenter’s Full Name_Rev1,2,3….ppt
    • Abstract no_Presenter’s Full Name_Rev1,2,3….mp4​
