Microneedles 2020 Chair’s Welcome
The Microneedles 2020 Conference is the 6th meeting since the conferences began in 2008. The 2020 meeting will feature in-depth discussions and presentations on overcoming the concerns about microneedles and moving toward commercialization. Programs will be provided about a variety of areas, including immunization, pharmaceutics, cosmetics, diagnostics, regulation, mass production, manufacturing methods, skin engineering, and clinical and non-clinical research on microneedles.
To our dismay, we have decided to conduct an online conference. Although we are unable to meet all our members in Seoul, converting the meeting to online does present us with other benefits. The online conference, with its elongated time, allows more room for invited talks and discussions. We have ensured that the slides being presented at the online conference are neat and organized, so that it could be understood by all our participating members. Along with our live Q/A, the online Q/A will enable more participation following the conference. We also anticipate increased interaction as the online conference has been organized for simplicity so that those who have language barriers may easily understand. The posters have also been re-constructed as the new format to accompany better understanding.
The preparation of online conference would not have been possible without the support of microneedle committee members and partnered companies. We thank you for your support.
